On 12 Mizan 1405 (4 October 2026), Moraa University held a welcome ceremony for newly admitted students of the Fall 1405 semester and an award ceremony recognizing outstanding faculty members and students of the Spring 1405 semester. The event took place in the main auditorium of Moraa Educational Complex (MEC).

The ceremony commenced with the recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an, followed by speeches delivered by Dr. Ahmad Zia Allokozay, Vice President for Student Affairs; Dr. Ashrafullah Stanikzai, President of Moraa University; and Mufti Ahmadi, the University’s representative for Religious Guidance and Outreach.

In their remarks, the speakers welcomed the newly admitted students and emphasized the importance of education, Islamic ethics, discipline, and personal responsibility. They also highlighted the vital role of faculty members in educating and shaping future generations, as well as the importance of encouraging students to achieve academic excellence. Furthermore, the University leadership reaffirmed its commitment to supporting students and providing a conducive environment for learning and academic development.

The programme continued with a question-and-answer session and recreational activities, during which gifts were presented to the winning students. Subsequently, outstanding faculty members and students of the Spring 1405 semester were recognized in the presence of the University leadership, faculty deans, department heads, and academic staff.

The event was organized to strengthen academic motivation, promote a culture of merit and excellence, recognize the contributions and achievements of faculty members and students, and foster a welcoming, supportive, and inspiring academic environment.
